Pranamam to all. My name is T. Srinivasa Rao. I had not achieved any specialization in my life, but I carried a childhood dream: to play at least one song on the flute. On April 14, 2024, I unexpectedly found a beautiful video presentation on YouTube. That discovery led me to the website of Harsha Dave Sir, where I joined as a Silver member with the hope of finally giving my dream a chance.
The journey was not easy. Because of personal, family, and official commitments, I used to travel nearly 2,000 kilometres every week until the recent past. Even during those difficult times, I regularly attended hackathons, practice sessions, and question-and-answer sessions while travelling. I practised whenever I found an opportunity, but my practice was only occasional, and I could not reach the level of perfection I wanted.
By God’s grace, a new opportunity came with the July 5, 2026 batch. I was able to attend classes regularly and practise more conveniently. I began making sincere and consistent efforts to improve my alankaras and reach the FFC level. This regularity gave me a clearer path forward. Instead of allowing earlier difficulties to stop me, I continued working patiently on each step of my flute learning.
The turning point came during the second and third weeks of September in Harsha Sir’s hackathon classes. His encouraging words and moral support gave me fresh confidence. He motivated me to upload a video every Sunday. I took his guidance seriously and felt inspired by both his words and his training. That simple commitment helped me remain accountable, practise consistently, and keep moving ahead.
Through these efforts, I reached the FFC level. For me, this achievement is closely connected to the support I received throughout the journey. The flute has become the fulfilment of a childhood dream that remained alive despite long journeys, demanding commitments, and irregular practice. Today, I continue with sincere efforts and the hope of gaining greater perfection in my playing. My heartfelt regards go to Sri Harsha Dave Sir and the practice-session mentors, Sri Rishab Sir, Sri Sujeeth Sir, Dr. Hitesh Gosai Sir, and all the others who supported and encouraged me.
