From zero music background to her first full melody in 11 weeks

“I had convinced myself I was tone deaf. Turns out I was just untaught.”

Meera bought a flute in 2019 and left it in a drawer for four years. She had tried three YouTube playlists and given up on each of them, always at the same place — she could not get a clean sound out of the instrument.

The Foundation Journey started where she actually was: breath, embouchure, posture. Nothing else for two weeks. By the end of the third weekly live session she had a stable note. By week eleven she played her first complete melody on Soulspark, hands shaking, and the chat filled with applause.

She now practises twenty-five minutes before work, most days, and is preparing for her first classical level.
